What are your experiences with tornadoes? I live in western NY, where tornadoes are almost unknown. Traveling on Amtrak several years ago there were thunderstorms All Around us one evening, and finally the train stopped in LaJunta,CO, and they evacuated us because of tornadoes. We had to run thru pelting rain, darkness, roaring sirens and blinking red emergency lights, to shelter under a theater. It was a nightmare. We got soaked. An hour later the ‘all clear’ was sounded, and we were allowed back on the train. We were one awful mess. We had not been able to take anything with us into the shelter. This was an experience for someone who knows nothing about tornadoes. I am wondering what YOUR experiences have been?

Day 2 >> Bromo – IjenWake up at very early morning, making short preparation for Sun Rise tour, and then the private jeep 4×4WD will drive you up to Penanjakan Mountain 2774 asl as the highest place to the Sun Rise and amazing view of mountain range. You may become live witnesses how amazing Bromo view that spread in your naked eyes, the sun with pink color ray with gold-yellow silhouette drift on slowly from east horizon. Day 3 >> Ijen – Surabaya / Ferry Terminal BanyuwangiEarly in the morning, well before sunrise, we drive a short way to the start of the trail that leads up to the active, beautiful crater of Kawah Ijen volcano (about 1 hr climbing) with its famous blue acid lake (the most acidic in the world!) and the hot, partly liquid sulphur deposits.The fumaroles are so hot that sulphur comes out as green vapour. The vapour is collected by large pipes, through which the vapor condenses, and at the exit you see red rivulets of liquid sulphur, which then freeze to solid deposits.  These deposits are quarried, in order to obtain huge blocks of pure sulphur. Ijen’s sulphur deposits are infamous for the local workers who quarry the sulphur with primitive, health-devastating methods,- an incredibly difficult job. Gas-masks are provided for your visit to the crater. After plenty of exploration time, we leave the Ijen Plateau transfer to Surabaya airport or other destinations.

She doesn’t seem very happy, and the dress doesn’t really help. you see the woman in the background is wearing a light blue dress and picking flowers, whereas the woman on the bench is wearing a black and gray dress and seems to be sad. Perhaps she is on her way to a funeral or someones grave and stopped to have a rest (i’m just guessing that because both her and the gentleman are in black and the flowers could be for the deceased). I also think that the woman in the background gives it a sense of realism, it’s not just a couple by a park bench. I’m curious as to what is behind the bushes the woman in blue is in front of; it appears to be a building of some sort, but i can’t really tell. hmm….

help with transmission for AYP 17/42 Quality Pro lawn mower; won’t go in reverse & hardly goes forward.?

It is an automatic; we put some fluid in nd it goes forward okay, but is still having trouble with reverse. Can you get a transmission for this mower? I understand this is an electrolux/frigedaire combination of all mowers had always wrked well in the past; however we let sit up for a few years and just put a new electric starter and tires on it plus battery.

First, is it a “shift” or an “automatic” (hydrostatic) transmission. The reference to a “clutch” should be ignored as, well, there isn’t one. If a Hydro tranny, it could be the belt, but more likely the tranny is shot. They’re prone to failure should they be used to tow wagons, etc. or used on steep grades. let me know and I’ll steer you in the right direction.
