Bathroom exaust fan venting?
I am installing an exaust fan for a new bathroom. There is no exterior side wall or roof near by to use as an exaust. I do have an inactive masonary chimney that was used for an old oil burner that I no longer have. Is it possible to vent the exaust fan to the chimney simply by installing an elbow pointed upward into the chimney and that connected to my exaust fan duct? Thank you.
If the chimney is COMPLETELY abdandoned and UN-used I would do it in MY house . . .
but never in a customers home
