What important documents do I need to take with me when I move out of my parents’ house?

I know I need my social security card and my birth certificate, but can anyone think of anything else I would need? Unfortunately I’m leaving on a sour note..things aren’t quite calm at home and my parents refuse to help me with anything.

And other than documents..is there anything else I might need? I already have expenses covered, I have as steady of a job as I can get with the economy the way it is right now, with a decent income which is bound to go up once my birthday rolls around and I can work more hours. I know rent & utilities, groceries, phone bills, car maintenance, insurance, all those things.

How about previous tax filings because you never know when the IRS may conduct an audit.
